学生会 Association (SGA)

对SGA

的 Association serves as the representatives of the student body, thus enabling members to act as liaisons between the student body and the administration, 教师, 和工作人员. 的 Association manages its business, 基金, and regulates its activities with the advice and consent of the Office of 学生的参与. 的 Association operates within parameters and guidelines set pursuant to the University 政策 and Procedures consistent with the Mission Statement.

的 purposes of the Association are to:

  1. Represent the thoughts and ideas of the student body
  2.  Inform students of their rights and responsibilities
  3.  Promote and defend the general welfare of students
  4. Foster cooperation between the administration, 教师, students, and community
  5. Encourage commitment to the University and its Mission
  6. Promote high standards of conduct
  7. Encourage student involvement within the University and surrounding community
  8. Serve the community as representatives of the University.

Three branches that uphold the SGA Constitution

学生会 Association is proud to have student leaders committed to serving the St. 爱德华的社区. Get to know your representatives. 

  • 的 行政部门 is comprised of three bodies; Student Body President, Cabinet, & 首席财务官.
  • 的 Student Body President acts as the liaison and representative between the University and our student body. 
  • 的 Cabinet organizes Internal and External by keeping SGA connected to the broader community.  
  • 的 首席财务官 manages all SGA 基金 and organizes funding requests made by registered student organizations.
  • 学生会 Association wants students to have a voice in the events and student organizations on campus. We invite you to get involved with the Student Government Association. Your expertise ensures that each experience provides an opportunity for networking, 领导力发展, 强烈的友谊, 和永恒的记忆.
  • 的 Student Court of Appeals considers citation appeals from currently enrolled students related to breaches of parking and transportation regulations. 的 university's traffic and parking regulations provide a method of safe vehicular and pedestrian traffic for students, 教师, 工作人员, 参观校园的人. 
  • Additionally, the court considers sanctions and appeals regarding SGA elections. 的 court has the jurisdiction to decide its own court rulings in that St. 365比分网电竞 and its properties are privately owned, and all actions taken upon said property are under the jurisdiction of St. 365比分网电竞 and its enforcers.

Senate proudly represents the student body of St. 365比分网电竞, by working to advocate for student needs by developing legislation. 

Senate meets weekly in the St. Andre Multipurpose Room on Wednesdays from 7:00pm - 8:00pm during the academic school year. 整条街. Edward's Community is invited to attend.

Every semester SGA coordinates a campus safety walk with the University Police Department, 校园安全, 设施, as well as members of the maintenance and grounds team to ensure a safe campus for everyone. 的 team walks campus in the dark to see w在这里 improvements can be made, and information on the progress of ongoing projects can be found 在这里. 

Hilltopper Emergency Aid Program
